What we collect

From the enquiry form: name, email, organisation, optional stock size, the review you selected, and your message. From commissioned work: the extract you send. We ask you not to include tenant names; if names appear we treat them as accidental and ask you to resend a redacted file where practicable.

Why we use it

We use enquiry data to reply and to prepare a fee. We use extract data to produce the charts and briefing you commissioned. The legal bases are steps prior to a contract, performance of a contract, and legitimate interests in running a small professional practice. Cookie use is described on the cookies page.

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept for two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner and no engagement followed. Working extracts are kept for twelve months after we deliver the briefing, then deleted from our working disks, unless a longer period is required for a fee dispute or a legal claim. Invoices are kept for six years.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Where you rely on consent for optional cookies, you may withdraw it. These rights may be limited where we must keep records of a paid engagement.

International transfers

We work from the United Kingdom. If a video briefing uses a supplier outside the UK, we will tell you in the confirmation and use a transfer tool the UK regime recognises, or we will offer an in-person sitting instead.

Processors

Email and file transfer may pass through ordinary professional hosting. We do not sell enquiry lists. Hosting of this static site may log technical addresses as described in the cookies notice.
